Samed Cliff Resort Koh Samed
Nice location but overpriced
The scenery is fantastic from the bungalows - that is the positive aspect of living in one of their bungalows.
Cleaning of bungalows is less good than normal. The location on the island is 10 minutes away from the main tourist areas with taxi - good if you want some quietness.
Breakfast consist of either Thai breakfast or fruit, toast and Nescafé, that's it.
Depending upon which week you come you can have either wonderful staff which foresee your needs without you having to tell them, providing you towels, babysitting etc. if you gt the staff that work the other week be prepared for NO service and complete uninterest.
Compared to what you get you will get disappointed if you have to pay more than a 1000 baht per night. Prices on this island seem to be higher than in Bangkok compared to what you get.
I would try and get some other place on ko samed if I where you.
What you have to do is to eat at Summer restaurant, twice the nor al price but five times as good as any other restaurant on the island.

It was ok resort. Nothing much, just a place to relax was fair enough.

Nice rooms.
It's my first time to go to Koh Samed Island. Actually I've never heard of this island. But when we got there its really nice. Samed Cliff is where we are billeted. It's a nice resort. Nice surroundings. Nice rooms. Great ambiance. They even have a place near the shore to stay with and just chill out. The staff are really very friendly and very accommodating. They've got good food too. Samed Cliff Resort is just mins away from the National Park. I am looking forward in coming back to this resort.
